Alpacalyptic is a locally sourced yarn. It comes from a small, family owned farm with around a dozen Huacaya alpaca.
This yarn is also milled within the state of Illinois. It has handspun qualities and is not 100% uniformly spun (which is part of why I love it so). Because of this, yardage will vary per skein, but you will always receive at least 125 yards, anything over consider it a bonus!
This is a wonderful yarn for creating shawls and wraps! Its so soft and warm, just perfect for wrapping up in on a chilly evening.
Recommended Care: Hand wash, dry flat.
Price is per skein. If you need more than one choose the desired quantity from the drop down menu. If you need more than currently available, please email me for a custom order at sales@direfulyarns.com
All colors are portrayed as true to life as possible. Photographs are taken in natural lighting, and are very minimally edited (if at all aside from resizing). Please note that even though I do my best to give an accurate color, some monitors do vary.
Orders of $150 or more ship free! (Domestic only, sorry).
