Fiber Options:

100% Superwash Merino

With a 19.5 micron count, this spinning fiber is soft as a cloud! Great for next to skin wear.

80/20 Superwash Merino/Nylon

Great for those that love handspun socks! Nylon adds strength without compromising softness. A little less slippery than the 100% Superwash fiber, but just as soft!

Falkland

Micron 26, staple length 4-6 inches, 100-115 mm. The base flock of the Falkland wool is Corridale, Polwarth and Dohne Merino. These breeds were developed for dual purpose, meat and wool production and are selectively bred for the ability to survive in the harsh climate of the Falkland Islands. The upside of the harsh climate is that insects and disease associated with them are not a problem. The wool is almost guaranteed to be chemical free. Since there are no known sheep diseases in the Falkland Islands, the sheep are never dipped and never go through mulesing.

Polwarth

Polwarth sheep are a Lincoln/Merino cross with a micron count that falls in the 22-25 range, making it great for next to skin wear and a joy to spin! Also great for felting projects

Price is per 4 oz braid. Please choose your desired quantity from the drop down menu.

All colors are portrayed as true to life as possible. Photographs are taken in natural lighting, and are very minimally edited (if at all aside from resizing). Please note that even though I do my best to give an accurate color, some monitors do vary. Colorways are all repeated using exact recipes, however there are still variations from batch to batch.

Recommended Care: Hand wash, dry flat.
